Until this time the company GEA brought sales in Germany forward (per year 50 machines Rutsch-Meniconi are sold).

1991

The company is expanding and has subsidiaries in Leipzig and Weilheim, Bavaria. The company has approximately 40 employees.

about 1980

Gebhardt & Augenstein is a trading house for eg machines of Altendorf. After the agreement with the Italian manufacturer Casadei Gebhardt & Augenstein becomes exclusive distributor for Germany. The brand "GEA" (Gebhardt & Augenstein) is launched and is introduced successfully to the German market. Machines of Casadei are sold via this sales company by many dealers, so that GEA is the fourth most successful company with Italian machines on the German market after SCM, SAC and Griggio or Maka.
