Timber construction

Timber construction

Under timber construction is understood all buildings, which are constructed in wood construction. In addition, the primary structure (static-bearing) consists of solid wood or wood materials.

On the one hand, complete wooden structures can be erected, and wood construction is often used with other construction techniques. Individual components, such as columns, beams, ceilings, walls and roofs, but also complex vaults and dome constructions, can be constructed from wood.
