ScribingTimber framing (or joinery) is when all the steps from scribing of timber to processing to combining and marking. There's a distinction between traditional, graphical, mathematical and computer-save timber framing. The sections and incisions, taps, tap holes as well as the location of axes, bevels, walls and mounting parts are being scribed. This will be marked with various scribing marks. With modern joinery machines there won't be any scribing necessary. The technical data will be entered in special joinery programs and the data of joinery machines which process the timber will be passed on. |
